Austin was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Abilene Christian University and received a Masters Degree from Hardin Simmons University. Austin currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Burleson, Texas. He has been an active member of Altamesa Church of Christ since 2010. Austine is involved weekly in local mission work through Neighborhood Needs. His involvement in foreign missions includes Saltillo, Mexico, the Philippines, and Africa medical missions.

 Married 44 years to H. F. Wurzbach, missions’ deacon at the Burleson Church of Christ. Two married children and seven grandchildren. Retired English teacher honored as Burleson ISD and Texas Region 11 Secondary Teacher of the Year. Currently employed seasonally by an accounting firm as supervisor of the 1040 department. Member of the Board of Directors for Noah’s Ark Learning Center, a full-time daycare facility. Director of the teachers’ supply and workroom at the Burleson Church of Christ. Speaker for ladies’ classes and retreats in the U.S. and the Philippines including the Philippine National Ladies’ Retreat.

Joe was born in Amarillo, Texas, and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2006 with a BA in Bible and a minor in Youth Ministry. He currently serves as the Associate Minster at the Luther Church of Christ in Luther, Oklahoma, with responsibility for youth group activities. He has also served as a Real Estate Agent for Keller Williams since 2013. He has served as a youth deacon and youth minister at various churches in the Oklahoma City area. He has been married to Valerie since 1981, and they have three children and five grandchildren. He feels honored to be apart of Shepard's Hill and helping brothers and sisters in the Philippines.
 
 

Erin Engelke

Erin Engelke, APR is the Chief External Relations Officer for Sunbeam Family Services, Oklahoma City's oldest nonprofit, where she manages the organization’s marketing, public relations and fundraising efforts. She has traveled extensively around the world, including Guatemala, Albania and Peru and has a heart for seeing children and families thrive no matter where they live. Her work has appeared on CNN, Los Angeles Times, Huffington Post, the Today Show and USA Today. 

A graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, Erin is an active member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City and the Public Relations Society of America and is past-president of the Association of Women in Communications (AWC). She is frequently tapped to speak on issues relating to branding, non-profit marketing, management, and work-life balance, having served as a TEDx speaker in 2014.

Erin was presented the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award from Oklahoma Christian University, The Journal Record Achievers Under 40 2010 honor, is a 2013 40 Under 40 honoree from okcbiz.com and 2014 40 Under 40 Honoree from Oklahoma Magazine. She is also accredited in public relations (APR) through the Public Relations Society of America. 

Erin’s greatest pride is her family – her husband, son and two daughters. They reside in Edmond and are active members of the Memorial Road Church of Christ.

Born in Ajo, AZ, a third generation member of churches of Christ. Attended
Pepperdine University and graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Elementary Education, plus 85 graduate units. Taught 21 years, including 3 years at a Christian School as Teacher and Principal. Married to Merilyn and they have 3 children. Served as Youth Minister, Bible Teacher, Deacon, Song Leader, on Missions Committees and organized 4 large fundraising dinners for missions. A very strong and active supporter of Salvador Cariaga's approach to evangelizing, livelihood training and disaster relief in the Philippines. Attends the Northwest Church of Christ.

A Supply Chain Manager at Bell Helicopter where he has worked since 2000.  A certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Practitioner.  Studied at Texas A&M and graduated from University of Texas-Arlington.  Lives in Mansfield, Texas, has been married to the love of his life, Deborah, since 1975, has two beautiful Christian daughters who married good Christian men, and has three wonderful grandchildren.  A Christian since 1966 thanks to God and his Grandmother.  Chairman of the Missions Committee at the Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Texas.  On the SHI board of directors since 2010.  Has had the honor to call Salvador Cariaga friend and brother for more than 15 years.  Has been to the Philippines three times to participate in and support Sal’s work.

Elaine is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Oklahoma Christian University where she has taught for over twenty years. Her duties include the Chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance in the College of Business Administration, along with coordinating class schedules, scholarships, internships, recruitment and placement. She has received the Gaylord Chair for Distinguished Teaching Award, currently holds the J.J. Millican Chair in Accounting, and is very active in promoting high ethical standards in business, especially in the field of accounting. She is married to Dennis Kelly, and they have three daughters, Denise, Allison and Kelsey, and two grandchildren. Elaine attends the Memorial Road Church of Christ where she is active on the HIM mission committee and is involved in the finance ministry. Besides her interest in the Philippines, she is very involved in the work at the Namwianga Mission in Zambia, Africa.

Retired Air Force officer with 14 years living in Europe and 16 in the US in OK, CA, MI, VA, and Wash DC.Academic and Christian teaching experience worldwide. Hobbies are finance, travel, and golf. A supporter of Give a Goat/SHI and has known the Cariagas for over 20 years. Currently serves on three other boards in the OKC area and occasionally babysits two lovely grandkids.Raised in Ft. Smith, AR. Bachelors and Masters Degrees from U. of Arkansas. Husband of a sweetheart Christian woman, Celeste, a father of two, and a bond-servant of Christ. Paul Reeves

Son of late missionaries Bill and Marguerite Reeves. Grew up in New Jersey, Texas and California. Has an AA degree from Ft Worth Christian College. Attended Eastridge, Midtown, Springtown, and Azle Churches of Christ, and served as teacher, deacon and song leader. Worked for Sears in sales and management for 40 years. Interested in SHI/Give a Goat because it helps people who are willing to help themselves. Enjoys helping Sal by merchandising Philippine products at Vendor Shows like Mayfest in Ft Worth and Sting Fling in Azle. Paul and wife Jean have 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
